Addauro Resort

Great hotel! The rooms, pool, breakfast and the area were amazing! You truly feel like you are in peace when you’re here. The breakfast was define! A large variety of Sicilian sweets and meats. The lady from the breakfast was also a sweetheart! haha plus there was a lovely cat at the property that always came to chill with us at the room (we named him Simba).

We really enjoyed our short stay at this Resort. We went in May and many other Hotels which have a pool, had it closed at that time. But this Hotel has a very nice, small pool which our children loved (according to staff it opened mid-April). The rooms are fully equipped and lacked nothing. The staff was very nice and went out of their way to make our stay great. We would come back any time! Highly recommended!

This hotel complex when first built would have been a 4 to 5 star resort but over a few years of use some of the shine as gone being replaced by the start of grime and mould. (Showers and other sanitary fittings) To maintain a high standard you do need to maintain not just think it was new 3 years ago! Breakfast left a lot to be desired and apart from the perfect coffee was at best 2*. We did not eat on site in the evening as the food was very traditional local and not to our tastes. Location is good for local beaches but you do need a car, local exploring is good but to get to the other side of the island is a formidable trip. Sun beds and pool good but beware the steps down into the pool are steep with no handrail (ok if you are 100% fit), also an odd area of rough stones next to the pool entrance that are lose and sharp. The staff are really friendly and helpful and worth 5*’s
